I was a little nervous about how jute would hold up in our high-traffic hallway, but the undyed wool and jute blend has been incredibly sturdy so far. The natural, earthy texture ties the whole room together and it looks even better in person than in the photos.
The wool feels so pure and unprocessed, like it was pulled straight from the earth, and the undyed tones shift beautifully with the light in my living room. I’ve had it down for a week now and the natural texture adds a warmth that no synthetic rug has ever come close to matching.
The jute backing gives it just enough grip on our hardwood floors, and the undyed wool feels wonderfully soft underfoot. You can really see the craftsmanship in the weave, it’s the centerpiece of our living room now.
